About Me

My name is Chris Nation and I am a music education major at Penn State with a concentration in euphonium.  I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with two brothers.  Music has always been a very dominating part of my life, from a very young age.  To me, music is something in which people of all ages and abilities can participate and enjoy.  I participate in a variety of activities, including the Penn State Blue Band, Symphonic Band, Pride of the Lions Pep Band, and Dance Marathon.  To me, life is about getting involved in as many things you enjoy as possible.
    The purpose of this website is to let you know a little bit about me and my transition to Penn State.  College has certainly been a transition thus far, fraught with challenges and difficulties.  However, it has been an overwhelmingly positive and enjoyable experience as well.  I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about me and my musical life at Penn State!
